1. What are the Terms?

1. This document is called the “Terms”. It is a legally binding agreement between any users of any of our services. These are the legal rules set out by us and govern our relationship with you. By using our website or any of our services, you (also referred to in this document as ““buyer”or “seller”) hereby agree to our Terms.If you do not agree with any of our Terms, then you must not use our website or any of our services

2. Version of the Terms: As we improve and expand our services we may make changed to Terms from time to time. Any service that is or has been used will be tied to the Terms specified at the time of usage. When we do make changed to our Terms, we will display and date these onto our website.

3. Governing Law and Jurisdiction: By accepting our Terms, you agree that they shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales and agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of England and Wales.

4. Advertising:Once you have placed a registration for sale on our website you may amend all details of the listing except the registration number itself. If you need to do this, please contact us. You mayremove or cancel your advert at any time. We cannot supply partial refunds for any adverts cancelled within the billing period. Price Plates retains the right to remove or edit any advert that it deems to be not in compliance with our Terms.By placing a registration for sale on our website you hereby warrant that you own the registration and have the entitlement to sell it. Price Plates cannot be held liable for any fraudulent activity or misuse of its services. It is the Sellers responsibility to ensure that all details and information submitted when placing a registration for sale are correct. Price Plates cannot be held liable for any mistakes, errors or discrepancies in information provided. Registration marks advertised on our website are advertised on the understanding that they will comply and be displayed in accordance with Section 17 of the Road Vehicles Regulations Act 1971. Buyers and Sellers hereby agree to comply with the DVLA Cherished Transfer Scheme. It is illegal to display a registration before the transfer has been completed by the Department for Transport. Your registration must be displayed in line with the government’s rules. It is an illegal offence under the Road Vehicles (Registration and Licensing) Regulation 1971 to alter, mis-represent or mis-space characters on a number plate.

5.Refunds, Cancellations & your Statutory RightsYou may remove or cancel your advert at any time. We cannot supply partial refunds for any adverts cancelled within the billing period. Price Plates cannot be held responsible for any failed purchases or disappointments. Our liability is strictly limited to a full refund only and no claims for damages; interest on monies paid or any other expenses shall be entertained. Your statutory rights are not affected.

6. Payments: Payments can be made by Debit/Credit Card and PayPal.

7: Publications, Submissions & Endorsements
7.1 At times, we may, on our website, on our social media pages or on any other publications, publish or display images or photos of our own, or which are user submitted, which depict number plates that do not abide by the prescribed laws. These are not endorsements and we do not condone or promote the alteration of number plates.

7.2 When you submit or supply us with any form of content, be it text, image, photograph, audio, video or otherwise, you waive your moral rights and hereby grant us non-exclusive, perpetual, sub-licensable, royalty-free rights and a licence to use, publish, reproduce, distribute, create derivative works and make available to the public. We may continue to publish your content even if you change your mind or request us to remove it. We may also choose to not publish or remove your content even if it does not breach our Terms. If you submit a third party contribution, you warrant that you have obtained their permission and have the licence to do so. You must also list the name of the copyright owners. If you do not want to grant us these rights please do not send in any contributions.

7.3 When you submit your contribution to us, you hereby warrant that you have the right to do so and that it is not defamatory and does not infringe on the law or any person’s rights. By submitting any contribution to us, you hereby indemnify us against, from and against all claims, liabilities, proceedings, costs, damages, losses, or expenses incurred by or caused by, or in any way connected with your breach of any applicable law or for any breach of section 8.2.

7.4 All trademarks and logos displayed on our website are properties of their respective owners and the company is in no way affiliated with them. If you own one of the logos displayed on our site and would like it removed, please contact us by email to hello@priceplates.co.uk and we will happily remove the logo without any delay.

8. Privacy Policy
8.1 Any information that is collected by us will be stored securely, treated confidentially and handled and treated in accordance with the provisions of the Data Protection Act 1998.

8.2 We will never sell your personal data.

8.3 We will never share your personal data with any third parties or persons.

8.4Your name and email address will be visible on our website.

8.6The type of data we will collect from you may include; name, address, date of birth, phone number, email address, credit/debit card and bank information, I.P address and details of which web browser you are using.

8.7 Your data will be stored on our servers in the UK but may also be accessed from inside or outside Europe by our staff.

8.8 You can always check the data we hold on you by emailing a formal request to hello@priceplates.co.uk. If any inaccuracies are found, we will make the correct amendments to edit or remove them.

8.9 Transmitting information over the internet is generally not completely secure, and we can’t guarantee the security of your data

9. Indemnity You shall indemnify us against all damages, costs, charges, losses, liabilities and expenses incurred by us arising from or connected to your breach of any of these Terms.

Severability: The invalidity or unenforceability of any provisions of these Terms shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision of this Terms, which shall remain in full force and effect. Should a court decide that any part of these Terms is invalid and/or cannot be enforced, that particular element of these Terms will not apply.

12. Emails: Emails may be recorded or monitored for monitoring and training purposes as well as to act as evidence in any dispute that may arise. By using this communication method, you are consenting to the recording or monitoring of the same.
